Our story
Stronghold started in storm restoration. We were established in 2019, and when Hurricane Laura tore through the Gulf Coast the following year, our crews were already in the field rebuilding downed telecom networks. That work — fast-moving, high-stakes and judged on getting it right the first time — still sets the standard we run by.
By 2021 we had moved from disaster recovery into full-time network construction. We’ve grown every year since — earning prime contracts with carriers and cooperatives, and building the crews, equipment and project management to deliver on them at scale.
Today Stronghold builds for national carriers, regional ISPs, electric cooperatives, power utilities, municipal broadband authorities and property owners. We work anywhere in the 48 contiguous states, with projects running today in the Southeast, Colorado, Ohio, Texas and Missouri. We hold an Alabama Unlimited General Contractor license and can obtain bonds of virtually any required amount, for public and private work.
