What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Stronghold Contracting Group (“Stronghold,” “we,” “us”) collects through the website at www.scgteams.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
It covers information collected through this Site. It does not cover information you provide to us offline, information handled under a signed contract or master service agreement, or the practices of any third-party website we link to.
We collect the following categories of information, and only in the circumstances described.
When you apply for a position through our careers pages, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, the position you applied to, any information you type into the application, and any resume file you choose to upload. Providing a resume is optional; name and email are required to process an application.
When you contact us about subcontractor prequalification, we collect the business and contact information you choose to send us, such as your company name, contact name, and email address.
When you complete a prequalification package we collect business information you provide, which may include legal and DBA business names, business address and contact details, entity type, year founded, employee count, union status, federal tax identification (EIN) and DUNS numbers, trades and service areas, annual revenue figures, bonding capacity and surety information, bank references, safety statistics such as EMR, TRIR, DART, OSHA recordables and incident history, insurance coverage limits and carrier details, diversity classifications, license numbers, project references, key personnel, equipment lists, and any documents you upload.
If you contact us through the Site, we collect the information you choose to provide so we can respond.
Our web server records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, as part of normal server operation and security logging.
The Site stores one preference in your browser’s local storage: your light or dark display setting. It is stored on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not used to identify or track you. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
We share information only in these circumstances:
We retain information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to satisfy legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to construction contractors and employers. Employment application records and subcontractor prequalification records are typically retained for several years so we can demonstrate compliance and reconsider past applicants and partners. When information is no longer needed, we dispose of it securely.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information submitted through the Site, including access controls that limit applicant and subcontractor information to authorized personnel.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information to us by unencrypted email.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law, and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information must be retained where we have a legal obligation or a legitimate business need to keep it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws — including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Subcontractors can request a copy of, or an update to, the prequalification information we hold by emailing us at the address below.
The Site is intended for a business and adult-employment audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, our systems, or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
