Stronghold Contracting Group was built on storm work. The company was established in 2019, and when Hurricane Laura hit the Gulf Coast the following year, our crews were on the ground restoring telecom networks on FEMA timelines. Disaster recovery is unforgiving — it rewards speed, judgment and crews who deliver without being told twice — and it shaped how we operate on every job since.
In 2021 we moved from emergency restoration into full-time network construction. Stronghold has grown year over year since, turning storm-recovery roots into prime contracts with carriers, cooperatives and utilities and expanding from the Southeast into markets across the country. Today we build and maintain fiber and utility infrastructure nationwide — underground and aerial, from the backbone to the customer drop.

Back-to-back prime contracts across the Southeast prove the company can scale crews and volume without giving up control of quality.
Fiber construction drives the majority of our work as the scope broadens across outside plant, aerial, splicing and installation.
Stronghold is active from the Southeast to Colorado, Ohio, Texas and Missouri, building at record volume with room to keep expanding.
